6th Class Wool Art
Our Christmas Wool Art project was a fun and creative way to get into the festive spirit. In 6th class, we used colourful wool, card, nails and simple tools to design beautiful Christmas-themed artwork. We created pictures of Christmas trees, stars, snowmen, stockings, and festive patterns, carefully wrapping and weaving the wool to form shapes and textures. This project helped us develop our fine motor skills, creativity, and patience, as the wool needed to be placed neatly and securely. We also learned how to plan our designs before starting and how different colours can make our artwork stand out. Everyone’s piece was unique, even though we used similar materials. The finished artwork looks bright and cheerful and adds a warm, festive feel to our classroom and school displays. We are very proud of our Christmas wool art and enjoyed working together on this seasonal project.
